Found only in one small rocky reef in Lake Malawi, Chindongo saulosi, a gorgeous rock dwelling cichlid, is practically extinct in the wild due to unscrupulous tropical fish collectors raping the location to supply fish to hobbyists. Efforts to restock the reef with captive raised fish have not yet produced conclusive results.
