Shipwreck in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, United States

Known as the graveyard of the Atlantic, the Outer Banks of North Carolina contain approximately 500 wrecks. Foul weather, accidents, geography, German submarines during WWII and intentional sinkings - to create artificial reefs - are the reasons this location is rich in sunken ships - and the marine life that lives on it.
