  • A Great Hammerhead Shark, Sphyrna mokarran, attacks a Goliath Grouper, Epinephelus itajara, which has been improperly released by an angler, offshore Singer Island, Florida. The process of venting a fish includes removing the gas inside the fish which prevents it from diving below the surface, making it easy prey to predators like Hammerheads and other sharks.
