  • While officially protected, Indonesia's Komodo National Park's rich marine fauna is subject to illegal fishing from transient and local fishermen. These fishermen have severely decimated the number of large predatory fish and invertebrates in the park. These fishermen, floating on styrofoam blocks are getting ready to pluck giant clams from the reef.
